Why do I have two wireless networks, and why is one labeled “5G”?

• Every home in Sterling Ranch is equipped with both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
• 5 GHz Wi-Fi (typically depicted as 5G) provides faster internet speeds, however, the signal will not travel as far as a 2.4 GHz signal
• 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi has farther range but will not be as fast as a 5G connection
• If you have trouble with your 5G Wi-Fi frequently dropping, you may want to try switching to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
