How does my security system work with STEWARD?

Your security system is integrated with STEWARD. This allows you to arm and disarm your security system using your STEWARD tablet or remotely with your mobile devices.

To arm your system using STEWARD:

1. Open the STEWARD app and locate the security tile
2. Check your system status
3. If your status is Ready to Arm:
   • Arm your system by pressing either Arm Away or Arm Stay
   • After several seconds, your status will update to Exit Delay In Progress
   • You will have 60 seconds before your alarm becomes active
4. If your status is Not Ready to Arm:
   • Press Current Security Status
   • Check the status of each zone for open zones
   • If a zone is open, close the associated door/window and wait for the status to change to Ready to Arm
   • If you would like to arm the system without closing the zone, you can bypass the zone using the Bypass toggle then arm the system using the Arm Away or Arm Stay button

To disarm your system using STEWARD:

1. Open the STEWARD app and locate the security tile
2. Press Disarm
3. A security keypad will pop up
4. Enter your access code and press Enter/Disarm

If the system indicates a zone is open that you don’t think is open:

1. Double check the zone to make sure it is closed
2. Check the security contact for proper placement (contacts should be touching or nearly touching)
3. Check open doors and windows in the area for security contacts – one zone may be associated with multiple security contacts
4. Contact us for help using the Submit Request page located in the menu near the top of this page

Integration with STEWARD also enables incorporation of your security system into “scenes” that activate multiple devices at once. For example, you could set up a goodbye scene that turns off all your lights, locks your front door, closes your garage door, and arms your security system.
