How do I add Rachio to STEWARD?

READ FIRST: Rachio is best controlled and managed through the Rachio app. To get the most out of your Rachio system download the Rachio app and login using the credentials given to you at closing. If you do not have these credentials, submit a ticket here.

If your Rachio is not showing up as a device in your STEWARD system, you can add it by taking the following steps:

• First, navigate to the back end of your STEWARD system
  • On your tablet, open the web browser and navigate to find.homseer.com
  • Click search -> a row should pop up with a few numbers -> click on number below “System”
  • You are now in the back end of your STEWARD system (the HomeSeer interface)
  • Now find the “Plug-Ins” drop down menu in the menu at the top of the screen -> Click on the Rachio Irrigation Plugin
  • There is a section to enter an “API Access Token”
• Next, get your Rachio “API Access Token”
  • Open a new window in your tablet browser and navigate to app.rach.io
  • Log into your account and go to account settings
  • You should see text that reads “GET API KEY” -> click on that and copy the API Key
  • Paste this API Key into the “API Access Token” section in the back end of your STEWARD system
• Your Rachio should now be connected to your STEWARD system
  • You can edit device settings on the Rachio Irrigation Plugin page
  • By clicking on “Home” in the menu at the top of the screen and finding your Rachio devices, you can further refine the settings for how Rachio shows up in STEWARD
